True Patriot Love
The flag upon my shoulder leaves no question as to which country my loyalty lies
Steeped in honour and faith, I vow never to sever these ties
I love my home dearly and will never part
No other nation can take her special place in my heart
I watched a flag dance high in the breeze
Its gentle waving put me at ease
As red as fire and as white as snow
My eyes were sparkling, my heart was aglow
Standing at attention and eager to sing
A proud Canadian in full swing
Gazing at the flag, I can’t help but grin
Supporting my nation through thick and thin
